Alapolice is a crowdsourcing platform for accessing public feedbacks on the conduct of the Sierra Leone Police Force personnel. The platform receives complaint through multiple channels namely; phone call, SMS, twitter, Facebook, email and direct reporting onto the website. Alapolice therefore promotes inclusive policing by involve members of the public in oversight of the police, thereby engender

ing public accountability and transparency. It is our plan to ensure that Reports on the platform are closely monitored and acted upon by officers of the Sierra Police Force responsible for ensuring internal accountability. The platform is operated by the CGG in partnership with the Sierra Leone Police Force and thus eliminates bureaucracies and limitations that hitherto characterized making complaints or observations on police conduct.
