Congratulations to the Project ARIF (Achieving Resilient & Inspiring Families) team on receiving the Distinguished Team Award at the SingHealth Excellence Awards! ๐
This recognition reflects the team's outstanding commitment to innovation and knowledge translation โ bridging the gap between research and clinical practice to improve care outcomes for patients and the healthcare system.
We are proud of the team's efforts in advancing the application of knowledge within the local healthcare sector and look forward to the long-term impact this work will bring to the community.
Funded by Temasek Foundation, Project ARIF is a collaborative programme by KK Women's and Children's Hospital(KKH) and MUIS, aimed at supporting Muslim couples and families through their marital, pre-natal, post-natal and early parenthood journey. This partnership brings together religious guidance, medical expertise and community support in a way that was practical, trusted and close to families. With MUISโ support, Muslim couples gain easier access to national resources from trusted community touchpoints like the mosques.
From June 2026, ARIF will join Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Singapore as a permanent component of the expanded Bersamamu ecosystem. Together, they will collaborate closely with Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM), MUIS, KKH, mosques across Singapore and other key partners to curate a suite of programmes and services for Muslim couples at every stage of their journey. These may include marriage enrichment workshops, family planning and parenting support, financial literacy programmes as well as counselling and mental wellness services โ all designed to strengthen marriages and build resilient Muslim families within the community.
