On The 12th April 2019,
Tampines Secondary celebrated their 33rd Speech Day.
Our NPCC personnel made our CCA proud by receiving various awards for their contributions to the school. The awards are as follows:
MOE Long Service 20 Years:
Our OC, Mr Ong
DSP(NPCC) Ong Chih Faah, or Mr Ong, is a dedicated NPCC officer who wants the best for his NPCC Cadets. He has served with the corps for 18 years and continues to teach in the service till this day for 20 years.
Friends Of TPSS (Alumni) :
CI Danish Mirza,
For his contributions to TPSS NPCC Unit the past 3 years by guiding, mentoring and moulding new leaders to achieve excellence. As Head Of Training, He plays a key role in training management ensuring a smooth development for the unit and the cadets. CI Danish's efforts did not go down in vain as the unit achieved UOPA Gold Award for the year 2017 and 2018 and having SI(NPCC) Joey to achieve the prestigious SPF NPCC Award.
CCA Excellence Award 2018 :
CI Hazwan Saleh,
For his contributions as Vice Chairman of unit in 2017/2018 including his involvement achieve the UOPA Gold Award 2017. Mr Hazwan now serves as a Cadet Inspector attached to TPSS NPCC. His mentor and close friend, CI Danish, continues to guide him to lead and mould the cadets into successful leaders.
