One of our youth volunteers with a strong sense of purpose, Adriel believes in effecting change through an identity grounded in service and growth. Adriel is also leaving us soon for his studies - we give our wholehearted blessing and wish him the best. It's farewell and see you again, Adriel 🥳

I believe that to live is to serve. With policy being only as effective as their downstream impact, MPS allows me to truly make a difference in the lives of others, bridging public resources to those who need them the most.

Through MPS, I can give back to a community that has given so much to me.

Serving and growing together with like-minded volunteers has shaped me into the person I am today, driven by a deep sense of service. I have experienced firsthand that no effort is too small, and together we can effect change and plan programs at a scale we once only dreamed of doing.

I joined MPS because I believe that everybody deserves to be heard. Through MPS, I am able to build connections with people from all walks of life, better understand their circumstances, and help shed light on the issues they face.

Volunteering at MPS has shaped me to be more empathetic and understanding. Through house visits and case writing, I have learnt that everybody deals with different sets of circumstances, and that it is important to put ourselves in others’ shoes to understand their struggles and worries.

Moreover, MPS has made me more effective in my communication by teaching me to listen actively and ask the right questions so as to fully understand residents’ concerns and to express their situations clearly and accurately.

This is my MPS why.
