ISCA Toastmasters was formerly known as CPA Toastmasters’ Club. Since its inception, some 200 people have gone through the process as Toastmasters.

2026 - 2027: Genevieve Ng Tai Hwa, CL was chartered in September 1987 as one of the activities of the Institute’s Social Committees by then-ICPAS President Mr Keith Tay and three founding members. At its peak, the club had a record of 84 members. The club was renamed to ISCA Toastmasters after ICPAS rebranded to Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) on 2 July 2013. As of 2025, we have a total of 28 active members. Effective 1 July 2025, the club was aligned to be part of District 80 Division M, Area 4. Past Presidents of ISCA Toastmasters:

🎉 Celebrating 39 Years of ISCA Toastmasters! 🎉

On 25 August, ISCA Toastmasters celebrated its 39th Anniversary at ISCA House, an evening of fellowship, learning, leadership and inspiration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Ms. Fann Kor, CEO of ISCA, for their continued strong support of our club, the warm welcome at ISCA House, and their commitment to helping members grow as confident communicators and leaders.

A key highlight of the evening was the installation of the ISCA Toastmasters Executive Committee for 2026–2027, led by installation officer Valerie Chow. Congratulations to the incoming Exco team. We look forward to a meaningful year of service, growth and achievement under your leadership.

The anniversary meeting was centred on the theme, “Human Advantage in the AI Era: From Expertise to AI-Augmented Excellence.” Our Table Topics session, themed “AI Bilingual,” encouraged members to consider how we can communicate, adapt and stay relevant in an increasingly AI-enabled world.

We were also privileged to host special guest speakers:

Anurag Gupta, CA CPA and CA Kushal R Jaju

Their insightful sharing reminded us that while AI can enhance productivity and capability, human judgement, communication, ethics and connection remain essential.

Thank you to our members, guests, speakers and supporters for making this anniversary celebration so meaningful. Here’s to the next chapter of ISCA Toastmasters, building voices, leadership and connections for the future.

Another great session at ISCA Toastmasters last night (11 August 2026)! 🎤✨

We had an engaging evening of learning, speaking, evaluation, and connection. 🤝📚

We had one prepared speech by Raymond, giving us another opportunity to learn and improve our communication skills. 🗣️👏

Our Word of the Day was "Coax, Cajole, and Coerce" 😄

We were treated to a wonderful Ice Breaker speech:
🌟 "Ice Breaker" by Jessica Kang — what a confident start!

Then came the English Table Topics round, where our members thought on their feet with wit, humour, and a whole lot of energy! 🧠💬

🏆 Congratulations to Wong Lai Yong for winning Best Table Topics Speaker of the night — well deserved! 👏

A massive shoutout and warm welcome to our visiting Toastmasters/Guests — Gerald Yong (AIA Toastmasters Club), Li Shan Shan (Senja Cashew CC TMC), Jesslyn, and Xue Qing, thank you for bringing your amazing energy and joining the ISCA ToastMasters family for the night! 🙌

Another great session at ISCA Toastmasters last night (14 July 2026)! 🎤✨

Our meeting theme was "Seeing is Believing" 👀 and the Word of the Day was "FIRST" 🥇.

We had three prepared speeches 🗣️:

2. "What will I be doing next?" (Persuasive Influence Level 1) by Li Shan Shan

3. "Be Clear – What do you want" (Presentation Mastery Level 2) by Umakant Aggarwal

This was followed by English & Mandarin Table Topics 🇬🇧🀄, giving members a chance to think on their feet.
