😨 In a recent case, compromised Singpass accounts were used to register over 1,200 SIM cards without victims’ knowledge - and it can happen to anyone.

On 25 August 2026, officers from Clementi NPC’s Community Policing Unit partnered with UOB to conduct a Coffee with Cop session at UOB Upper Bukit Timah Branch. Officers engaged customers and shared practical tips on staying safe from scams. 👮

During the session, customers were reminded to be cautious when receiving unsolicited calls or messages and when making online transactions. They were also encouraged to download ScamShield for added protection against scam calls and messages. 🛡️

Scammers never rest - neither should we. Together, let’s stay vigilant and keep our community safe! 🤝
