From fresh faces taking their first steps on stage, to familiar names returning years later, Baybeats has been growing alongside Singapore’s alternative music scene for over 20 years. 🎸

This year brought together budding bands, returning alumni, veteran acts and special collaborations, showing how platforms like Baybeats give local artists the space to grow, experiment and keep the music going. ❤️

Swipe to meet some of the Singapore acts that took the stage at !

What does it take to keep traditions alive across generations? 👀
For Chee Tong (), it starts with learning from the person who taught him - the craft, values as well as responsibilities that come with it.
Together, the mentor and apprentice are finding new ways to carry it forward. ✨

Some people help us take the first step. Some keep us going when things get tough. And some simply show up and encourage us before we believe in ourselves.

Happy Teachers’ Day to the teachers, coaches, and mentors who made a difference along the way. ❤️

Our National Pledge was first recited in schools 60 years ago in 1966. To mark this milestone, three local artists put their own spin on its shared values, each bringing their unique perspectives to life through their art. 🎨

Hear them share the inspirations and meanings behind their work — and how three personal expressions came together to form the Community Mural at *SCAPE.

Behind every athlete is a community that believes in them.

Sport has a way of bringing people together - creating shared moments, building a sense of pride, and connecting us through the athletes and teams we support.

The Singapore Sport Hall of Fame recognises athletes and sporting figures who have contributed to Singapore’s sporting journey, both in and beyond competition.

More than sporting icons, our Hall of Fame Honourees are role models who embody the Singapore Spirit and show how sport can bring us together as one nation. 🇸🇬

Good neighbours make great communities. 🏘️

From 1 Sep 2026, the Mediation Direction (MD) framework and Community Relations Unit (CRU) will be expanded nationwide — so neighbours have stronger support to work things out more effectively and at an earlier stage.

MDs require disputing neighbours to attend mediation at the Community Mediation Centre (CMC). They're legally binding, but the goal is always the same: bringing neighbours together to talk things out.

At the end of the day, harmonious neighbourhoods are something we all build together. 🤝

Singapore's arts scene is about to get a major boost! 🎭 ✨

A new 1,000 seat purpose-built theatre is coming to town! Located within the redeveloped Tanglin Shopping Centre, it will strengthen Singapore's arts infrastructure and support large-scale productions across art forms.

This new cultural landmark will open up the arts to all — locals and visitors alike. 🙌
