With the changing temperature, and the subtle changes in the colours of the leaves, it feels like autumn is quietly beginning to arrive in Rausu Town, Shiretoko.
You can sense the seasons slowly moving forward.
While the deep blue of the seas still retains a touch of summer, the mountains seems to be gradually taking hints of autumn colours.
In the coming weeks, we look forward to watching these trees, which are only just beginning to change colour, gradually transform into vibrant shades of autumn.
