【Chỉ số Đổi mới Sáng tạo Toàn cầu】 Tổ chức Sở hữu Trí tuệ Thế giới (WIPO) đã công bố Top 100 cụm đổi mới sáng tạo trong Chỉ số Đổi mới Sáng tạo Toàn cầu (GII) 2026 vào ngày 8 tháng 9, trong đó, cụm Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou tiếp tục giữ vững vị trí số một thế giới. Kết quả này một lần nữa khẳng định năng lực đổi mới sáng tạo vượt trội cũng như hệ sinh thái tài chính hỗ trợ đổi mới sáng tạo và công nghệ (I&T) nổi bật của Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Bảng xếp hạng cụm đổi mới sáng tạo của GII xác định các khu vực tập trung hoạt động đổi mới sáng tạo đẳng cấp thế giới dựa trên ba chỉ số chính, gồm số lượng đơn đăng ký sáng chế quốc tế thông qua Hiệp ước Hợp tác về Sáng chế (PCT) của WIPO, số lượng công bố khoa học và số lượng thương vụ đầu tư mạo hiểm. Trong bảng xếp hạng năm nay, cụm Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou đã có 2,259 đơn đăng ký PCT, 4,060 bài báo khoa học và 138 thương vụ đầu tư mạo hiểm, tính trên mỗi 1 triệu dân trong vòng 5 năm qua.

Trong thời gian tới, Hong Kong sẽ chủ động làm theo Kế hoạch 5 năm lần thứ 15 của quốc gia, qua đó củng cố vị thế chiến lược của mình với vai trò là một trung tâm đổi mới sáng tạo và công nghệ I&T quốc tế. Hong Kong sẽ tiếp tục tăng cường hợp tác với các thành phố kết nghĩa trong GBA đóng góp vào nỗ lực của đất nước trong việc xây dựng hệ thống công nghiệp hiện đại, đồng thời đạt được năng lực tự chủ và sức mạnh khoa học, công nghệ ở trình độ cao.

Daniel Neville, Giám đốc Công nghệ Sự kiện của Encore Event Technologies tại Hong Kong cho biết: “Tôi chọn nơi đây vì Hong Kong là nơi nhân tài, nguồn lực và cơ hội nghề nghiệp trên toàn cầu hội tụ”.

🎬 Hong Kong cinema takes centre stage in Singapore! 🎞️

The Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation 2026 opened yesterday (Sep 11) at Shaw Theatres Lido, marking its fifth consecutive year in Singapore. Organised by the Hong Kong-based Asian Film Awards Academy and co-organised by the Singapore Film Society, with support from the Singapore ETO and other partners, the three-day programme features eight Hong Kong films showcasing the diversity, creativity and vitality of Hong Kong cinema. Hong Kong director Mak Tin-shu and actresses Rachel Leung and Renci Yeung are also in Singapore to meet and interact with local audiences.

The Gala Presentation runs until Sep 13, featuring six recent Hong Kong productions alongside two Bruce Lee classics, as well as a special directors’ talk bringing together filmmakers from Hong Kong and Singapore. Through cinema, we look forward to sharing Hong Kong’s unique stories and creativity, while fostering closer exchanges between the film communities of Hong Kong and Singapore.

Singapore ETO đã phối hợp cùng GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance và Vietnam’s Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology đồng tổ chức Hội nghị Thượng đỉnh AI và Kinh tế Số Vietnam–China vào ngày 27 tháng 8, 2026 tại Hanoi, Vietnam. Dưới sự dẫn dắt của Chủ tịch, Tiến sĩ Jonathan Choi, Hội nghị Thượng đỉnh là điểm nhấn trong chuyến công tác “Go Global” của Alliance tại Vietnam từ ngày 24 đến ngày 27 tháng 8 năm 2026, quy tụ khoảng 200 đại biểu đến từ các cơ quan chính phủ, hiệp hội doanh nghiệp, tổ chức đầu tư, trường đại học, viện nghiên cứu và cộng đồng công nghệ của Vietnam và Chinese Mainland.

Phát biểu tại Hội nghị, Giám đốc Elsa Hung nhấn mạnh vai trò của Hong Kong là “siêu kết nối” và “siêu gia tăng giá trị”, kết nối Chinese Mainland, Vietnam và các thị trường quốc tế. Phát huy thế mạnh về tài chính, đổi mới sáng tạo, nghiên cứu và các dịch vụ chuyên môn, Hong Kong có thể hỗ trợ các công ty công nghệ Vietnamese và Chinese thương mại hóa những sáng kiến đổi mới và mở rộng hợp tác xuyên biên giới. Tại Hội nghị, đại diện doanh nghiệp và các chuyên gia đến từ Chinese Mainland và Vietnam đã thảo luận về các ứng dụng AI trong những lĩnh vực kinh tế trọng điểm, phát triển nhân tài, nghiên cứu và phát triển (R&D), và chuyển giao công nghệ. Các đại biểu cũng trao đổi quan điểm về quá trình quốc tế hóa của các doanh nghiệp Chinese, những ứng dụng AI mới nổi và các cơ hội đầu tư trong những lĩnh vực then chốt tại Vietnam.

Năm MOU đã được các công ty lớn trong lĩnh vực công nghệ của Vietnam và Hong Kong trao đổi, đặt nền móng vững chắc cho việc tăng cường hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực công nghệ, AI, chuyển đổi số, giáo dục và đào tạo, đầu tư và kết nối thị trường giữaVietnam và Chinese Mainland qua Hong Kong.

【Global Innovation Index】The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) published the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2026 top 100 innovation clusters on September 8, among which the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou cluster ranks first globally once again. It reaffirms the outstanding innovative capacity and the innovation and technology (I&T)-supporting financing ecosystem of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The GII Cluster ranking identifies local concentrations of world-class innovation activity using three key metrics, viz international patent filings via WIPO's Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), scientific publications, and the number of venture capital deals. For this year’s ranking, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou cluster filed 2,259 PCT applications, published 4,060 scientific articles and had 138 venture capital deals, all per 1 million inhabitants over the last five years.

Going forward, Hong Kong will proactively align with the National 15th Five-Year Plan to strengthen strategic positioning as an international I&T centre. Hong Kong will further deepen collaboration with the GBA sister cities, contributing to the country's efforts in building a modern industrial system and achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and strength.
