Core to the mission of SCCFSC is to strengthen beneficiaries towards stability and self-reliance.

Formerly known as Bukit Ho Swee Family Service Centre, South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC) provides support to the low-income and vulnerable families in our community and encourages community self-help and cooperation. Community engagement platforms are created where not only the larger and resident communities are able to share their time, talent or treasure but our beneficiary

community also can come forward to help a neighbour in need or to share with others through their strengths and assets. Every one of us has something worthwhile to contribute and generosity has little correlation with how much we have but a lot to do with how much we care. This is the ‘Gotong Royong’ spirit regardless of age, ethnicity or social class. We are about YOU, the residents & the people who live near and around you. IN GOOD TIMES, We celebrate together,

AT ALL TIMES, We make things better for everyone.

🌷 From our archives: celebrating the incredible mothers in our community🌷

We’re looking back on a heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration made possible by the dedication and generosity of our Village Town Hall Committee residents

Planned, organised and funded by the committee themselves, the celebration brought residents together for an evening of appreciation, connection and community spirit

From the thoughtfully prepared potluck to the beautiful pink outfits worn by many of our mothers, every detail reflected the care and effort that went into making the occasion special 💗

More than just a celebration, the event was a wonderful example of residents coming together to create meaningful experiences for one another and strengthen the bonds within the community 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

A heartfelt thank you to our Village Town Hall Committee members and all who contributed to making the celebration a memorable one 🫶🏽

On 8 April, we partnered with ACDC Group to distribute food packs to our families.

Through this collaboration, we were able to support 22 families with essential food items — a small but meaningful way to journey alongside our community 💛

Kami HBBs is a project by SCCFSC to showcase the home-based businesses (HBBs) within our community. Through this initiative, we hope to highlight the talents and journeys of individuals who are building their livelihoods from home.
