We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us as Chingay Storytellers and share the vibrant spirit, culture, and traditions of Chingay with young audiences.

A taste of Singapore’s hawker heritage! ✨😋

Kallang CC WEC recently organised an outing to Jiak99: Premium Hawker Experience.

Participants discovered Singapore’s multicultural food traditions through a guided tour, tested their knowledge of local kopi culture, and sampled local favourites served in a nostalgic 3-piece tingkat.

The experience ended on a sweet note with a hands-on ondeh ondeh making session, where everyone made their own traditional treats to bring home!

Our seniors had a wonderful morning exploring the beautiful NTU Yunnan Garden, followed by a visit to Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre on 13 September 2026.
