Not every skill comes naturally.

At our last training, our players stepped out of their comfort zone, working on kicking with their left foot. There was hesitation at first. A few unsure touches, a few passes that didn't quite land where they wanted.

But with Coach Jonathan cheering every attempt, that hesitation turned into focus. Focus turned into effort. And effort, one touch at a time, is how confidence gets built.

This is what growth looks like on the pitch, not perfection, but the willingness to try the unfamiliar.

Every month, we invite our players and their family to join us for a meal to get to know other players and coaches.

Our players needs are more than just training on the field. We believe in getting to know one another off the field. Giving them a space where they could gather and just be youths!

The space we created allow our coaches to get to know players more indepth. Understanding how they are doing in school and life. If a player personal well-being is taken care of, it has shown that they thrive on the field too.

Off the pitch, we run study sessions for our players: real help in the subjects they find toughest, whether that's math, english, or just staying on top of homework.

The discipline it takes to show up for training every single week is the same discipline to complete their homework for school.

We want our players to flourish in both places, on the field and in the classroom. If they can manage their studies, they'll manage a lot more than that!

Or you can be the guy who chases down a loose ball at full sprint in training — just to show them it's worth it.

Our coaches aren't just running drills. They're showing up early. Talking to every player, not just the ones with the ball. Getting low, getting involved, getting muddy.

Kids don't learn character from a whiteboard.
They learn it by watching someone live it — session after session, week after week.

That's the job. Not just teaching Football. Modeling it.
It is more than a game.

Football is more than a game — and today, these young ballers proved it.

During the school holidays, about 20 of our players (aged 10–12) stepped off the pitch and into the real world, visiting Arkema Singapore for a full day of discovery. From science experiments that had everyone stretching strings and mixing liquids, to a live tour of the Jurong Island plant — every moment was designed to show them that curiosity takes you places football alone cannot.

Huge thanks to the team at Arkema for opening your doors, your labs, and your lunch table (the pizza was a hit 🍕). You showed our kids what Innovative Materials for a Sustainable World really looks like — up close.

These aren't just footballers. They're future engineers, scientists, and leaders in the making. 🌍
