义安理工学院团队深入了解腾讯的数码生态及微信的“超级应用”模式；南洋理工学院、共和理工学院及淡马锡理工学院的学员则从中国科技发展、跨境创新及新中联系等角度，分享他们的观察与思考。

Building bridges, shaping the next generation 🤝

At the 16th Meeting of the Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council, Business China signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City to provide internship opportunities for Singaporean youths, while exploring learning and exchange programmes that leverage the respective strengths and resources of Singapore and China.

Through Business China's YES Programme, ~500 Singaporean students have interned in China since 2023, including almost 100 in Guangdong! We hope to grow this number and give more young Singaporeans the opportunity to experience Guangdong's dynamic business environment, build meaningful connections and shape how the next generation engages with China. 🌏

在第十六届新加坡-广东合作理事会会议期间，通商中国与中新广州知识城签署谅解备忘录，承诺携手为新加坡青年提供实习机会，并基于新中双方的优势与资源探索学习交流项目。🤝

自2023年以来，通商中国 “青年实习交流计划” 已协助近500名新加坡学生赴华实习，其中约100名学生在广东进行实习。我们期待进一步推动该计划，让更多新加坡青年有机会深入了解广东的商业环境，同时助力新一代新加坡青年拓展国际视野！🌏

Business China Chairman Mr Lee Yi Shyan recently welcomed Mr Li Xiaojun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL), and his senior delegation during their visit to Singapore.

A Fortune Global 500 enterprise, GPHL is the first company with traditional Chinese medicine as its core business to enter the list. The Group is actively advancing its innovation-driven transformation and expanding its international presence. 🌐

The meeting brought together senior representatives from GPHL and its listed subsidiary, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings, as well as Singapore-based Lion TCR. An Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) spin-off, Lion TCR is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing T-cell therapies for virus-related cancers and chronic viral infections. 🦠

Discussions explored opportunities for closer Guangzhou–Singapore cooperation in healthcare innovation, research commercialisation, talent exchange, and product and market development. 🧬

Business China is pleased to facilitate such connections and looks forward to supporting further exchanges and partnerships between organisations in Singapore and Guangzhou.🤝
