What makes a great chalet? The volleyball, basketball, BBQ, and games certainly help 🏐🏀🔥

But beyond the activities, our annual YGOS Chalet is really about creating space for meaningful conversations and lots and lots of fun.

Over 3 days and 2 nights, our youths and staff came together to laugh, connect, encourage one another, and simply enjoy each other's company.

A wonderful way to kick off the June holidays💙

What youths hear matters, but who they hear it from matters even more.

Project Out of the Blue is a youth engagement initiative led by YGOS as part of Singapore’s ongoing drug prevention efforts, supported by the DrugFreeSG Fund and the National Council Against Drug Abuse - NCADA.

Through music, we’re putting youths at the centre of the conversation, drawing on their stories and experiences to shape messages for their peers.

Follow the journey as Project Out of the Blue unfolds.

Most people only see the ugly offence, but Alejandro chooses to see the person. In his work with youths in RTC, he has seen firsthand how difficult reintegration can be, not just because of incarceration, but because of the stigma many youths continue to face even after release.

Yet despite the challenges, he still believes people can change.

In this carousel, Alejandro shares how he unexpectedly found his calling in youth work, what reintegration really looks like behind the scenes, and why acceptance matters more than we think.

To the mums who give so much of themselves every single day, thank you 💕

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who hold families together with strength, grace, and a whole lot of patience 🌸

Not every young person turns back immediately. Some journeys require deeper intervention, stronger structure, and longer support systems to help them rebuild their lives.

When a youth enters Reformative Training, the focus is not punishment, but rehabilitation and reintegration.

Through structured programmes and consistent aftercare support, youths are guided to develop responsibility, resilience, and the skills needed to re-enter society with a renewed direction.

Because even when consequences are serious, the story is never over.

Happy Good Friday! ✝️ Today we remember that God’s love was never conditional on our perfection. Before we could earn it, deserve it, or even understand it…love was already given 🤍

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 📖✨

Thank You Jesus for the greatest love of all!

Some young people first walk through our doors because of games, but they always stay because of the people.

Ming En first came to YGOS after PSLE, curious about the activities she heard about. What she found was more than just kin-ball, Jenga and Red King. She found friendships, caring mentors, and a space where someone would notice if she was having a hard day.

Even now, as school gets busier, YGOS remains a place she knows she can return to anytime. Because sometimes, what begins as play becomes something much more meaningful 💚
