Established in 1902, CAS is amongst Singapore's oldest secular philanthropic organisations. Through our two services, Melrose Home and Melrose Care, we provide residential care and specialised therapy to support children and youths who have experienced challenging life circumstances such as abuse or neglect. Our services seek to mitigate the impact of these circumstances so that the children and y

When a young person enters residential care, what they need most is not a single moment of change, but consistent support over time.

For Samantha, that support at Melrose Home included counselling, art therapy, academic guidance, and trusted relationships with youth workers. Step by step, she was able to stay engaged in school, build confidence in her strengths, and work towards goals that mattered to her.

Her journey reflects what becomes possible when young people are given time, space, and the right support systems around them.

We’re proud to be part of Pontiac Land Group’s annual Project Legacy fundraiser, held at Camden Medical for the very first time!

The initiative brought the Camden community together over handcrafted chocolate chip cookies baked by Conrad Singapore Orchard. Our CAS team also had the privilege of speaking with visitors and sharing more about our work with children and youths.

Through the support of the community, the fundraiser raised $10,000, with all proceeds going towards Melrose Care. These funds will help make therapeutic support more accessible for children, youths, and families in the community.

We’re deeply thankful to Pontiac Land Group for continuing to walk alongside us in this work. Our appreciation also goes to tenant partners Stan Isaacs Optometrists, Eye & Retina Surgeons, Parkway Rehab by IHH Healthcare, and Conrad Singapore Orchard for your support through this initiative.

At CAS, we walk alongside children, youths, and caregivers to strengthen the support systems around them through Melrose Home and Melrose Care.

We’re bringing our CAS community together at Shaw Theatres Lido for a shared afternoon at the movies, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Many of us have had someone who was by our side during a difficult time — and that sense of steady care is what helps children and youths navigate challenging life situations.
