The SJ60 commemorative concert 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘉𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 was successfully held at Drama Centre Theatre on 6 September, attended by both Ambassador Ishikawa Hiroshi and former Singapore Ambassador to Japan Mr Chin Siat Yoon.

Featuring renowned Tsugaru shamisen player Agatsuma Hiromitsu, together with Japanese artist Sachiyo and Singaporean artist Nathan Hartono, the performers showcased their amazing talent with musical pieces from both countries from the 1970s and anime, all of which indeed resonated across borders. Guest P**a Artiste Samuel Wong added colour to the performance, as well as Iga Takuro on piano and Govin Tan on percussion.

It was an afternoon of colourful music to remember, as it concluded with the beautiful remix performance of Home in both English and Japanese by Sachiyo and Nathan.
