PPIS PPIS is a non-profit organisation.

PPIS run three core community services, namely Family Services, Student Care, and a Residential Facility, serving as a secular halfway house for women engaged in community rehabilitation programmes.โ€‹

With 10 centres island-wide, the services work together to provide quality and holistic support and developmental programmes for women and their families across the different phases of their lives.โ€‹

Everyone has something to contribute - a skill, an interest, an idea or an experience worth sharing.

At OMG 2.0, residents stepped forward as makers and contributors, sharing their interests and talents with neighbours through crafts, art, music and more. In doing so, they created opportunities for others to learn, connect and perhaps even discover strengths of their own.

At PPIS FSC (West), we believe stronger communities are shaped when residents have opportunities to participate, contribute and build connections with one another. OMG 2.0 is one of the ways we create space for this to happen.

How can we better equip children to recognise boundaries and speak up when something doesnโ€™t feel right?

PPIS Senior Social Worker Siti Khadeejah Muabdu will be joining the live discussion Didik Anak Kata โ€˜Tidakโ€™, alongside fellow panellists Muhammad Haikal Jamil and Ustazah Liyana Musfirah.

The conversation will explore body safety, recognising signs of grooming, and how positions of trust can be misused, with perspectives on how we can better support and safeguard children.

But unsafe behaviours can also come from people a child or family already knows and trusts. PPIS FSC (East) Head, Ms Aaqilah, shares what to look out for, how to help children understand and assert their boundaries, and what to do when a child speaks up.

Let the impact of giving continue this blessed Friday and month of Rabiulawal. ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿปโœจ

Every contribution can mean something different to someone โ€“ support for a woman finding her way forward, opportunities for a child to learn and grow, or a helping hand for a family navigating a difficult season.

Through PPIS programmes and services, more than 2,800 beneficiaries and families were supported, including 550 children nurtured through our programmes and services.

To everyone who contributed to our PPIS Friday Mosque Collection 2026 last week, volunteered or helped spread the word โ€“ thank you for being part of this collective act of giving.
