A traffic accident has occurred near Exit 10A leading to Woodlands Checkpoint. It is blocking one out of three lanes.
Travellers planning to depart Singapore via Woodlands Checkpoint should expect delays. Motorists are advised to follow ICA page for updates.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫-𝐚𝐳𝐲 🚗

On 18 Aug 2026, ICA officers at Woodlands Checkpoint foiled an attempt to smuggle duty-unpaid ci******es into Singapore via a Malaysia-registered car.

Based on information received from ICA’s Integrated Targeting Centre (ITC), ICA Search & Examination officers directed the vehicle for enhanced checks. More than 460 cartons and 1,100 packets of duty-unpaid ci******es were found concealed within various modified compartments of the car.

The 20-year-old male Malaysian was arrested in connection with the case. The exhibits and suspect were referred to Singapore Customs for further investigation.
