πŸš€ Developing the Next Generation of TAC Leaders

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is launching two new leadership development pathways for Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) to strengthen leadership pipelines, support succession planning, and develop future-ready leaders for the TAC sector.

πŸ”Ή TAC Aspiring Leaders Programme (TALP), delivered in partnership with Singapore Management University (SMU), is designed for high-potential middle managers and emerging leaders seeking to develop capabilities in strategic thinking, leadership resilience, stakeholder engagement, and influence.

πŸ”Ή TAC Advanced Programme for Exceptional (APEX) Leaders, delivered in partnership with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), is designed for Heads of Secretariat and staff progressing into senior leadership roles who are looking to deepen their capabilities in strategic leadership, governance, advocacy, organisational resilience, and sector transformation.

Building on the success of the TAC Fellowship Programme, these programmes aim to equip TAC leaders with the skills and networks needed to navigate an increasingly complex operating environment, lead organisational change, and create greater value for their members and industries.

Beyond classroom learning, participants will have the opportunity to learn alongside peers from across the TAC ecosystem, exchange best practices, build meaningful professional networks, and collaborate on common challenges facing the sector.

🌱 Lead transformation.
🀝 Build stronger networks.
πŸ’‘ Create greater impact for your industry and members.

For the inaugural run, eligible participants may receive up to 90% funding support.

For more information, please reach out to [email protected].

The future ready workforce is no longer about adopting new technologies. It is about building a workforce equipped with the skills and capabilities to keep pace with change.

Earlier this year at the Jobs-Skills Integrator for Wholesale Trade (JSIT-WST) Conference, we spoke with partners from Employment & Employability Institute, e2i, Singapore Polytechnic, and JobTech to hear their perspective on workforce challenges businesses are facing today, and why partnership is essential to preparing for what’s next.

Three key takeaways:
πŸ“Œ Business transformation goes hand in hand with workforce transformation.
πŸ“Œ Skills gaps remain one of the biggest challenges facing employers today.
πŸ“Œ Building a future-ready workforce requires partnership across the ecosystem.

As workforce needs continue to evolve, businesses need the right ecosystem to navigate change with confidence. Through JSIT-WST, SBF brings together industry partners to help businesses strengthen their workforce through skills development, job redesign and talent solutions.

Watch this space for the next episode of , where our partners share practical support and resources to build a workforce ready for what's next.
