He thought he could push through just a few more deliveries.

After almost 10 hours on the road, fatigue led to a crash that kept Mr Ng Gan Poh off his bike, and without income for 80 days.

His reminder to fellow riders - take a break before fatigue takes over.

Because getting home safely is the most important delivery of all.

Ride smart. Stay sharp. Stay safe.

Through the Road Smart Riding Skill Programme, Traffic Police partnered with Bukit Batok Driving Centre, Singapore Safety Driving Centre, ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to equip riders with practical skills and knowledge to ride more safely, respond to hazards and make better decisions on the road.

Because every ride matters. Ride smart, ride safe.
