National Day & August Birthday Celebrations at SNM AAC@Race Course

On 21 August 2026, SNM AAC@Race Course came alive with colour, laughter and patriotic spirit as we celebrated National Day together with the birthdays of our seniors born in August.

The afternoon began with a warm welcome and a generous potluck lunch, filling the centre with the comforting aroma of shared food and cheerful conversation. Our August babies were then honoured with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, complete with bright party hats, thoughtful gift bags and heartfelt wishes for continued health, happiness and peace.

A lively “Spin Da Wheel” quiz followed, putting everyone’s knowledge of Singapore’s history, national symbols and beloved National Day songs to the test. Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as our seniors eagerly answered questions and celebrated correct answers together.

The highlight of the day was a spirited performance by children from PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Moulmein-Cairnhill Blk 50. Their energetic songs and dances brought the centre to life, while our seniors proudly waved Singapore flags and responded with enthusiastic applause. The children also presented handmade crafts and drawings, creating precious intergenerational moments through simple acts of kindness.

A big thank you to the children and teachers from PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Moulmein-Cairnhill Blk 50 for joining our double celebration and bringing so much joy to our seniors. ❤️
