Parenting through exam stress isn’t always easy.

As our children navigate school, exams and the expectations around them, it can sometimes be difficult for parents to know when encouragement becomes pressure and how best to support them when they are struggling.

This Friday, we’re hosting a free parenting workshop, “When Pressure Becomes Harm”, where parents can learn more about recognising signs of stress in children and supporting them without adding to the pressure they may already be feeling.

Gek Poh Ville CC would be organizing a new generation Abacus and Mental Arithmetic class for children aged between 4 to 14 years.

Sessions would start from 10 October, and end on the 12 December 2026. (10 sessions).

Classes would be held on Saturdays, from 1.30pm to 3.00pm at Gek Poh Ville CC's Activity Centre at Block 749 Jurong West Street 73, #01-135.
