**Gardening Activities at Gladiolus Place**
Today's activities involve the careful thinning of Naibai seedlings, where weaker plants will be removed to ensure the strongest ones thrive. It is also crucial to support the growth of bush beans and long beans by tipping and trellising them. To promote development, fertilizer will be applied to the long beans, bush beans, and fruit trees. Additionally, a trellis will be built for the passion fruit plant to provide necessary support.
Last week, diatomaceous earth was utilized to protect against white flies and thrips, as demonstrated by the numerous flies collected in a plastic container.
Without these protective measures, the plants would suffer significant harm. Furthermore, protective nets have been set up to prevent pests from damaging the plants, and the discovery of snail droppings beneath the leaves highlights the importance of maintaining vigilance in the garden.
