At Playkeroo, we believe that children learn best through play and that child directed play helps to build confidence by giving them a sense of their own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Playkeroo is inspired by the characteristics of a Kangaroo: active, always moving, energetic and possess a high level of stamina – just like our children. The female kangaroo sports a pouch on their be
lly to cradle its newborn - this symbolizes our parental need to nurture and protect our little ones. With these in mind, Playkeroo is designed to be the social unit for children under 7 years old to pursue child directed play in a fun, safe and imaginative environment while parents / caregivers interact and meet new friends. The concept behind Playkeroo revolves around the Kangaroo's savannah from birth to adulthood. At the Baby-Roo Forest Land, infants and young toddler hone their fine and large motor skills which prepares them for crawling, cruising and walking. Next, Joey Hills is an active play area where they get to run around and expend their energy with soft play equipment, obstacle courses, trampoline, slides and ballpit. Lastly, they progress to the Kangaroo City where they experience city life and have to navigate through traffic conditions.
