A very useful session on LPA* is being organised by your PAP Mountbatten Branch. See details below. Please register to make good use of this wonderful opportunity.

* The LPA is a legal document and a deed, which allows a person who is at least 21 years of age ('Donor'), to voluntarily appoint one or more persons ('Donee(s)') to make decisions and act on his/her behalf if he/she loses mental capacity one day. A Donee can be appointed to act in the two broad areas of personal welfare and/or property & affairs matters.​ The LPA also gives the authority to the Donee to sign deeds on the Donor's behalf.

Our Member of Parliament for Mountbatten SMC, Gho Sze Kee 吴诗琪, spoke in Parliament on the upcoming Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Levy, highlighting the need to balance sustainability with competitiveness.

Changi Airport is our global air hub, connecting Singapore to the world and supporting tens of thousands of local jobs. We must be careful in how we implement the SAF Levy so that Changi stays competitive even as we go green.

Sustainable progress must go hand in hand with economic resilience.

Hello Mountbatten Residents - please take note of these upcoming road closures, due to improvement works. They have been planned from the middle of the night to end early morning, so as to minimise inconvenience.

Hi everyone, I'd like to share a heads-up from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) about some upcoming road works that may affect your early morning travel.

To allow for road sign upgrading, the slip road from ECP (City) Exit 13 to Marina East Dr/Fort Rd/ECP(Changi) will be temporarily closed on a few nights.

Closure Dates:
25 Sep 2025 (Thurs) - 26 Sep 2025 (Fri)
1 Oct 2025 (Weds) - 3 Oct 2025 (Fri)

Closure Hours:
12:01 AM to 5:00 AM

Alternative Route:
Please continue on ECP (City) and use Exit 15 to Rochor Rd instead, following the signs to Beach Rd. Directional signs will be placed to guide you.

I know road closures can be an inconvenience, so please factor in a little extra travel time for your journey. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. Drive safely!

Woohoo! Have you received the govt WhatsApp message on the new SG60 vouchers!

Just nice, this editor (me) has finished her supermarket vouchers and still has remainder $30 vouchers to use for hawker food and buying dried goods from the hawker shops. Feel great to support our own hawkers who often whip up Michelin standard local delights - Fried carrot cake, our old airport hawker famous fried prawn noodles and Lor Mee etc.

If you're between 21 and 59, you can redeem your SG60 vouchers. ❤️💯

The vouchers are the government's way of recognising our contributions towards nation building as we celebrate SG60 and look forward to continued peace, prosperity and progress.
