For many years, Macpherson RC Zone B has been one of a Singapore zone, playing an important role to bring and carry out government policies in bridging residents. Introduce Residents’ Committees (RC)

The Residents’ Committees (RCs) were introduced in 1978 to promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness amongst residents within their respective RC zones in Housing and Develop

ment Board (HDB) estates. Run by residents for residents, RCs also work closely with other grassroots organisations (GROs) like the Citizens’ Consultative Committees (CCCs) and various government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of their respective precincts. This scheme gives residents the opportunity to have a say on who becomes part of their RCs. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, aged 18 and above and living within the RCs Zone, can be nominated to join the RCs. Interested in nominating someone to be part of your RCs? Get a form from Macpherson Community Centre , complete it and submit the nomination form to your respective RC in your estate.
