Lotus Light Charity Society (Singapore) The society is opened to ALL, regardless of race, gender, age, creed, or origin. In essence, the activities have to fit the four(4) designated criteria.

Lotus Light Charity Society sets out to improve and enhance the quality of lives of people through a variety of humanitarian projects, events and activities in engaging and bonding the community as a whole. We encourage our members and clients, new immigrants or otherwise to involved in the society at large. To date, we have:

1. Social Service Development

We coordinated, and sponsored monthly fo

od and ration distribution to over 600 needy families and elderly. Thanks to many generous sponsors, the needy clients we served are receiving, eggs, bread, daily necessities, rice, to supplement their livelihood.

2. Educational Advancement

The Lotus Light Charity Society sponsors an annual ‘Lotus Light Scholarship’ program for students in primary, secondary through to post-secondary, tertiary education. Awards are given out annually to students who met the selected criteria. The criteria are based on academic achievement, financial needs and community involvement.

3. Medical Assistance

The society has sponsored and fund-raised for organizations that provide medical assistance to the needy. We also have a free TCM Clinic which offers free acupuncture services to serve the needy and poor.

This year, on Rice Donation Day, we will be donating 42,300kg of rice to 35 charitable organizations. We have also invited 160 seniors to join us for a banquet lunch and celebrate Grandmaster Lu’s 82nd birthday together.

You may make your rice donation through any of the following methods:

秉持關懷社區、扶助弱勢的初心，華光功德會（新加坡）於2026年5月持續展開每月愛心物資派發活動，為獨居長者及低收入家庭送上生活所需與溫暖關懷。本月份活動已於2026年5月31日（星期日）上午圓滿完成。

當天，義工們一早於華光會所集合，在完成物資整理與分配後，分別前往五個派發地點。大家分工合作、互相配合，順利將愛心物資送達320戶受惠家庭手中。此次派發的愛心禮包內容豐富，包含2公斤香米、米粉、麥片、水果、麵包、雞蛋、罐頭食品、餅乾及各類生活必需品，希望能減輕受惠家庭的日常負擔，也為他們帶來一份安心與關懷。

每一次的派發行動，都離不開義工們默默付出的時間與心力。感謝大家始終如一地投入服務，以實際行動傳遞愛與溫暖，讓更多有需要的人感受到社會的關懷。

同時，我們也衷心感謝所有善心捐助者與支持者的長期支持。因為有大家的護持與信任，這份愛心才能持續延伸，照亮更多家庭。

Lotus Light Singapore warmly appeals to brothers, sisters, and friends for your kind support and generous donations towards Rice Donation Day 2026!

We are less than a month away from our annual Rice Donation Day Ceremony, which will be held on 20 June 2026 at Teck Ghee Community Club. In celebration of Grand Master’s 82nd birthday, this meaningful event will not only see more than 42,000kg of rice donated to welfare organisations, nursing homes, and hospitals across Singapore, we will also be inviting 160 seniors for a charity lunch during the ceremony.

We sincerely invite everyone to support this meaningful cause and contribute towards making this event a success. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.

In April 2026, we continued our monthly outreach to support seniors living alone and low-income families through the distribution of rice and essential provisions.

This month’s distribution took place smoothly on Sunday morning, 26 April 2026. Our volunteers gathered at Lotus Light Centre before setting out to five distribution locations. Through teamwork and dedication, they successfully delivered goodie bags to 320 beneficiary households. Each goodie bag was carefully packed with daily essentials, including 2kg of fragrant rice, instant noodles, coffee powder, fruits, bread, eggs, canned food, biscuits, and other necessities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all our volunteers for their time, energy, and unwavering commitment. Your compassion continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.🙏

We are equally grateful to our donors and supporters whose generosity enables us to sustain this initiative and reach out to more families and seniors in need.🙏
