🌾 Kampong Friends’ Blessing: From the Community for the Community ❤️
Behind every food ration is a family doing their best to get by. A parent skipping meals so their children can eat. An elderly neighbour stretching every dollar to make ends meet.

Through Kampong Friends’ Blessing, we support less privileged families in the Serangoon community with essential food rations, bringing not just food to the table, but also hope, dignity, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
Today, we invite you to be part of that hope. Every donation can help ease a family's burden and remind them that their community cares.

Kampong Kakis once wondered... what would a bumping space at block 157 look like?

With that, we held our first storytelling session (Small Stories, Big Heart!), all shaped by residents themselves. From tossing around ideas to planning and stepping up. We started with small chats, now turning into meaningful connections! This space has slowly become something we built together. 🙂

At Serangoon Moral FSC, our group work programmes offer a safe space to share, learn, and realise you aren't alone. We don't just gather to chat; we clinically design these sessions based on the community’s needs, empowering participants to support each other as ‘co-therapists’ and build emotional resilience.

We tailor our groups to focus on key life transitions. Our two most recent programmes include:
🚦 Pit Stop: A psycho-educational programme navigating the adolescent transition.
⛰️ Emerging Adulthood: A support group dedicated to the young adulthood transition.

Connection, reflection, and growth — guided by facilitators, driven by the community ❤️

On 10 February 2026, we are honored to welcome MP Jasmin Lau, Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Ministry of Education, to Serangoon Moral Family Service Centre.

During her visit, we shared about our work in Casework and Counselling, Group Work and Community Work. We thank her for taking the time to visit and engage with our team.

Curious about life as an intern at SMFSC? Hear from Yasha, our NYP intern!

Her practicum gave her hands-on experience with diverse clients, helped her apply classroom learning, and discover her passion for volunteering. With guidance from caseworkers, Yasha overcame her fears and gained confidence in working with families.

Overall, the internship gave her a fresh perspective on social work and how she can make a difference 😊
