On 1 Sep 2026, Changi RHCC welcome Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), led by Col Takahiro Kiritani, for a visit, where they were briefed on the Centre’s role and capabilities in facilitating both military-to-military and civilian-to-military coordination. The delegation also gained insights into how Changi RHCC offers OPERA 2.0 CIS as a disaster response tool to support the swift and effective coordination of military assistance in response to disasters across the region.

On 31 Aug 2026, Changi RHCC welcomed UN OCHA’s Director of Partnerships, Ms Mervat Shelbaya, and her delegation for a visit to the Changi Regional HADR Coordination Centre (RHCC). During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Changi RHCC’s role in Civil-Military Coordination (CMCoord), as well as its contributions to regional preparedness, response and capacity building. These include the hosting of the UN CMCoord Course and the 11th Regional Consultative Group (RCG) in 2025.

On 31 Aug 2026, Changi Regional HADR Coordination Centre (RHCC) was pleased to welcome a delegation from the Stanford-NUS Executive Programme (SNEP). During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Changi RHCC's role in regional disaster preparedness, response and capacity building, as well as the importance of military-to-military cooperation and civilian-to-military coordination in disaster response operations.

The Changi Regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Coordination Centre (Changi RHCC) also participated in a HADR exercise organised by the US PACOM Center for Excellence in Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance, to strengthen response capabilities and interoperability between military and civilian organisations.

Changi Regional HADR Coordination Centre (RHCC) is pleased to be part of the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise under Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026, where we presented on the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC) and the role of Technology in HADR operations during the Senior Staff Command Forum, participated by 9 countries.

As part of our continued support for the exercise, Changi RHCC will deploy OPERA 2.0 Common Information System (CIS) to serve as the HADR CIS platform, providing participating nations with a shared Common Operating Picture (COP) and Request for Assistance (RFA) tracking capabilities.

We look forward to working alongside our regional and international partners in strengthening HADR response capabilities.

On 24 Jun 2026, Changi Regional HADR Coordination Centre (RHCC) was pleased to welcome a delegation from Malaysia's National Resilience College (NRC), led by Maj. Gen. Abdul Karim Bin Ahmad.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Changi RHCC's role in regional disaster preparedness, response and capacity building, as well as the importance of military-to-military cooperation and civilian-to-military coordination in disaster response operations.

On 12 June 2026, Colonel Nemoto Masayuki and his delegation from the Joint Staff College MOD Japan visited Changi RHCC where they learnt the importance of promoting a stronger military-to-military coordination and response, so as to minimise gaps and duplication of efforts during disaster relief operations. This visit was hosted and briefed by LTC See Joon Siang, Head Coordination.
