Today marks 40 years of Young PAP. 💙

Established for young Singaporeans aged 17–40, Young PAP has always been about giving young people a voice, encouraging them to step up, and empowering them to make a difference.

The Singapore we enjoy today was built by generations who chose to step up and serve. We should never take that for granted. Now, it is our turn to build on that legacy.

As YP Hougang, we’ll continue to listen, serve, and act for our community and for Singapore.

Putting food on the table and providing a roof over our heads often comes at the cost of precious time with loved ones. Behind every meal, every opportunity, and every comfortable home are countless sacrifices made by parents striving to give their families a better life.

This Father's Day, we shine the spotlight on our comrade, Ridhuan, a proud father of three, as he shares his fatherhood journey—how he balances the demands of work and family, strives to be present for his children, and reflects on the memories and life lessons he learned from his own father growing up.

To all fathers, thank you for your strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Your efforts may not always be seen, but they are always appreciated.

Bringing the Jewel of Hougang to Jewel ✨

This Mother’s Day, the People's Action Party Hougang Women’s Wing brought our lovely mothers to a special outing at Jewel Changi Airport, where they put their newly learnt photography skills into practice. 📸

From posing techniques to lighting, participants applied what they learnt during the 1-hour workshop held at our branch while capturing beautiful moments and joyful memories around Jewel. 💐

This Mother’s Day, we sat down with 3 millennial mums to talk about what motherhood truly feels like. From the uncomfortable truths to the beautiful chaos, they opened up about how motherhood has transformed them, and shared the little moments that made their journeys so meaningful. 💛🧡

Even on the days when getting out of bed feels heavier than usual, they continue to show up with endless love, strength, and courage.
