New Hope Community Services

New Hope Community Services A social service agency in Singapore working to restore hope to the displaced and disadvantaged. A year later, New Hope Community Services (NHCS) was born.

Our work first began in 2003 when four homeless men approached Pastor Andrew (our Founder & CEO) seeking refuge. We currently run four transitional shelters around Singapore and provide various services and programmes that help our clients break out of the poverty cycle and achieve long term financial resilience and independence. Our Vision:
To be a beacon of New Hope to the displaced and disadvantaged in the community. Our Mission:
To restore HOPE to those we serve.

🛏️ 1. Be a Sleeper
Join us at the SleepOut Main Event on 9 October and experience a night of solidarity with those who face housing insecurity.

✨ Introducing Partners of Hope — a series spotlighting the organisations that partner with New Hope Community Services to make a meaningful difference in the lives of displaced and disadvantaged individuals and families.

🚘 Meet our Partner of Hope: Aura Network LLP

Through Drive For Hope', Aura Network LLP and its drivers chose to dedicate a portion of their earnings from their everyday journeys to support New Hope Community Services and individuals and families experiencing homelessness. 💙

We had the opportunity to sit down with some of the drivers to hear what inspired them to take part, what giving back means to them, and why supporting the community matters.

We’re also grateful to Nissan for supporting Aura Network LLP’s private-hire drivers and helping make 'Drive For Hope' possible.

Together, their generosity turned everyday journeys into meaningful contributions towards building hope for those who need it.

When was the last time you thought about what having a home means to you?

A place to come back to.
A bed to sleep in.
A space where you feel safe and at ease.

For many of us, these are things we rarely have to question. But for someone experiencing homelessness, having a safe and stable place to call home can be far from certain.

This SleepOut SG 2026, we invite you to step out of your comfort zone for one night and into someone else’s reality — not to pretend to be homeless, but to stand in solidarity with those who are.

✨ Introducing Partners of Hope — a series spotlighting the organisations that partner with New Hope Community Services to make a meaningful difference in the lives of displaced and disadvantaged individuals and families.

🚘 Meet our Partner of Hope: Aura Network LLP

For Aura Network LLP, partnering with New Hope has been more than just raising funds. Through "Drive For Hope", their community of private hire drivers came together for a day on the road, dedicating their time and effort to raise funds for New Hope’s Olive Tree Fund.

Beyond fundraising, Aura Network LLP has shown what it means to be a community partner — giving their time, resources and support to stand alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness and displacement.

To Aura Network, thank you for turning every journey into an opportunity to give back, and for standing with us to bring hope to those who need it most.

If your organisation is looking for a meaningful way to create social impact, we’d love to partner with you. Together, we can help more individuals and families find a place to call home.

Behind every supporter is a reason for saying "yes" to the cause.

For him, supporting SleepOut SG 2026 is deeply personal.

“The cause resonates with me as it was a struggle that I was familiar with. We were facing housing issues as a family, and I experienced firsthand how difficult it could be.”

Growing up, he and his mum stayed with different relatives. Although his experience was different from rough sleeping, it gave him a first-hand understanding of what it feels like when "home" is uncertain and stability cannot be taken for granted.

Today, he's choosing to stand alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability by fundraising for New Hope Community Services.

His story is a reminder that empathy often begins with our own experiences—and that everyone can play a part in helping someone move towards stability.

Support his fundraising journey and help more individuals and families rebuild their lives, one step at a time.

A time to connect, reflect and grow together.

Our staff retreat was more than just a getaway. It was a time to reconnect as colleagues, exchange perspectives, have open discussions, and reflect on how we can continue growing together as an organisation.

Grateful for the conversations, the learning, and most of all, the people who made this retreat special. Until the next one! ✈️

The Social Service Tribe Study Award, offered by partnering social service agencies and supported by the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), provides students in qualifying courses with the opportunity to pursue their studies while building a meaningful career in the social service sector.

As a partnering agency, New Hope Community Services is looking for passionate individuals who want to turn their desire to help others into a career with purpose.

Who can apply?
The Study Award is open to eligible Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents intending to take up citizenship who are:
• Full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students at a recognised local institution
• Pursuing a qualifying course of study
• Not currently employed full-time
