July and August spotlighted the many ways our students and graduates are making a difference, whether through community service, academic and co-curricular excellence, or innovation. ✨

❤️ ITE students played key roles in organising Hearts in Motion, a community event held in support of President’s Challenge. Bringing together close to 2,000 participants, the event raised about $110,000 for programmes supporting communities in need.

🏆 More than 20 ITE students and graduates were recognised at the Special Awards Presentation Ceremony for academic excellence and outstanding co-curricular achievements.

🌊 Four ITE students took their innovation to the ASEAN AI Hackathon 2026 in Da Nang and emerged winners of the Green Solution Award with AwareGuard, an AI-powered solution to tackle coastal litter.

A Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) programme offers more than hands-on experience. It gives you a mentor to learn and grow with. 🤝

For Sheryl Danielle Eng, the guidance and support of her WSDip mentor have enabled her to pursue her passion for the events industry and discover what she’s capable of. She went on to be the valedictorian for the 2026 ITE Graduation Ceremony, where she also received the inaugural ITE-SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Award. For her mentor, Cheryl Choy, seeing Sheryl’s development has been equally rewarding.

In this video, the pair look back on their time together, sharing their first impressions and what they appreciate most about each other.

Applications for the 2027 WSDip intake will be open from 2 November 2026 to 26 February 2027. Visit https://www.ite.edu.sg/admissions/work-study-diploma/ to learn more.
