Was in line waiting for my coffee just now ..when i overheard the filipino lady FL (whom married a malay) speaking to a chinese local lady CL (her colleague i presume) their conversation was like this:
CL - i know Chinese Mother Toungue is very hard for the kids...so when yr kids going to school which MT would you choose?
FL - well it would be Chinese because Malay wouldn't be useful.

Me - shake heads...

(This is not a racist post but just to reminds us of what SG50 has done to our National Language)
