For the children and families, it was an afternoon at the park. For Lydia, it was so much more.

She started Breakfast Buddy because she believed no child in her neighbourhood should go to school hungry. What began as breakfast for children has grown into something much bigger, a chance to sit with the families she has come to know, share a meal, play some games, and simply be present with them.

With support from the SG Partnerships Fund, she was able to bring together 100 children and their families for a picnic at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. This is what growing impact in the community looks like.

What happens when people who care deeply about their communities find each other in the same room?

At Community Exchange, about 100 ground-up founders, community partners, and changemakers came together to share openly and learn from one another.

These connections mattered. Participants told us they expanded their networks, and lessons exchanged continue to shape how we strengthen and support our communities.

Thank you to everyone who brought your generosity, curiosity, and experience into the room. Let us keep showing up for each other. 🤝
