On 6 May 2026, Shan You was honoured to celebrate Parentsโ€™ Day with Jenny Chua and Friends, bringing beneficiaries and volunteers together for a morning filled with warmth and joy.

The celebration was lively and heartfelt, featuring engaging karaoke sessions, a friendly karaoke competition, fun games, and a Best Dressed segment that brought smiles all around. Beneficiaries also enjoyed sweet treats, delicious lunch, and exciting lucky draws that added to the festive spirit.

On 4 May 2026, Shan You was delighted to have Alvin and Friends for a joyful Motherโ€™s Day celebration at the Wellness Centre.

The day began with a lively karaoke performance, filling the space with laughter, music, and heartfelt dedication to all mothers present. Followed by a warm buffet lunch, where everyone gathered to share meaningful conversations and moments of connection.

As our seniors moved through nature, their observations, emotions, and intentions naturally came togetherโ€”transforming into ๐๐ž๐ž๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐›๐จ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ.๐ŸŽจ

By listening inwardly and allowing nature to guide their inner vision, seniors learned to create tangible, heartfelt artworks that reflect mindfulness, connection, their unique inner landscapes and gratitude.

Shan You brought 70 seniors to Bird Paradise for a refreshing mindfulness walk on 27 March 2026 together with our volunteers from FyreFlyzโ€™s Youth.

Along the way, youths and seniors connected through shared moments of presenceโ€”practising simple mindfulness techniques, slowing down, and appreciating the sights and sounds of nature together. The interโ€‘generational interactions were truly heartwarming, filled with conversations, laughter, and mutual learning.

We concluded this beautiful experience with a buffet lunch at Penguin Cove, wrapping up the day on a joyful and deeply satisfying note.
