✨ This year’s King’s Birthday Party was nothing short of spectacular! ✨

We brought a British festival spirit to Singapore, as 700 guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, a brilliant band, a glitter bar, and the finest British food and drink.

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of London, who shared something extraordinary — the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize. London has just received this prestigious accolade in recognition of its outstanding urban leadership and innovation. To have the prize here in Singapore, where it was awarded, made the evening even more meaningful.

We were also delighted to be joined by Mr Edwin Tong SC MP, Mr Darryl David MP, and Mr Edward Chia MP.

Thank you to our generous sponsors for making the magic possible, and to everyone who joined us — this celebration belonged to you! 🎉

Special thanks to
Event Sponsors: Airbus, BAE Systems, Dover Court International School, Dulwich College, HSBC, NatWest, Revolut, Tanglin Trust School

A brilliant evening in Singapore with Professor Brian Cox!

Members of the British High Commission team, including Deputy High Commissioner Lucy Hughes, were delighted to attend the Singapore leg of Professor Brian Cox's 'Emergence' tour, and have the opportunity to meet with him after the show.

Lucy and Brian discussed the role of universities in driving discovery; it was an inspiring conversation on how the UK’s world-leading institutions continue to shape global science and innovation.

They also talked about the ever-growing interest in science -evident from the huge, diverse audience at the show - and how exciting it is to see more people engaging with big questions about our universe 🌌

From physics to 80's pop… things can only get better.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Brian back on his next visit.

🇬🇧 🤝🇸🇬 Last week the UK & Singapore signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation on nuclear safety regulation and training.

This partnership between the UK’s Office for Nuclear Regulation and Singapore’s National Environment Agency will support the exchange of expertise, including on emerging technologies like small modular reactors.

Building on our longstanding partnership, the UK will work alongside Singapore to build strong regulatory capabilities and deepen technical knowledge in nuclear safety - as Singapore continues to study the feasibility of the safe deployment of nuclear energy in Singapore.

We look forward to continuing this collaboration as both countries advance clean energy ambitions safely and responsibly.
