Assalamualaikum wr wb

Alhamdulillah. Construction works are going smoothly to build a 2-classroom Madrasah Imarah Botumsakor in Kampung Botumsakor, Kandal, Cambodia.

The construction of this Madrasah by will be able to accommodate 120 children. These classes will be conducted for children from fishermen families of new settlements.
Temporarily, these classes are being conducted for only 40 children in a 1-classroom under a Masjid void deck. And unfortunately this classroom is prone to frequent flooding during rainy season.

"Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him." (Hadith Muslim)

“Whoever guides someone to goodness, will have a reward similar to that of the one who performs it.” (Hadith Muslim)

May we be amongst those who strive to do good deeds, and get everlasting rewards for the Waqaf of this Madrasah. Amin.

GAZA - NEW WATER PIPELINE NETWORK FOR RAFAH AL SUMOOD CAMP

Insha'Allah the new upcoming installation of water pipelines in RAFAH AL SUMMOD CAMP in GAZA will make it easier for those living in the camps to have access to regular water supply without having to travel kilometers. It will benefit 300 families, which consist of children, men and women.

Together let us support and contribute generously which will make this project a success in rendering water supply to our fellow brothers and sisters.

May Allah swt bless us and our families, and grant us boundless rewards for our sincerity and efforts. Amin.

In Surah Al-Hashr, verse 9, Allah swt praises the Ansar for welcoming the Muhajirun and sharing their homes and wealth, despite having their own needs. Their generosity came from sincere love, not personal gain.

The Ansar also showed no jealousy towards those who received their help. They preferred others over themselves, even when they were in need. This teaches us to be generous, caring and willing to put others before ourselves.

Let us emulate the Ansars in their selflessness, thinking about others first before themselves. May Allah swt makes us amongst His pious servants who benefit others throughout our lives. Amin.

Alhamdulillah. Began in January 2022 in Cambodia, Aqrab World has expanded its PKK-LIVELIHOOD to Semporna, Sabah in January 2024.

These projects aim to provide long-term support and financial assistance to various communities.

• Duck Rearing
• Production of Salted Egg

PKK- LIVELIHOOD @ Kg Beng Tongsong, Cambodia
-FISH BREEDING

Fish breeding started in August 2023 with 1 fish pond. Now, it has expanded to 2 ponds and able to rear almost 11000 fishes at a time.

The objective of this PKK is to uplift and improve the livelihoods of the villagers and also help to sustain the Tahfidz Orphanage.

Other PKK Beng Tongsong which are running currently are:

1. Gifting of 19 breeding cows, and now there are 33 after giving birth, and selling and buying replacement cows.
2. Planting of Kelapa Harum Manis and Tapioca
3. Upgrading of 2 classrooms of full-time Madrasah
4. Conversion to solar energy to conserve electric energy for Tahfidz Orphanage, and save cost.
5. Installation of water filtration set for clean drinking water in Tahfidz Orphanage, and save cost
6. Monthly financial aid to 10 orphans in the Village Tahfidz Orphanage
