One of the most topics among Swedish public (I would go far to say more than the Weather and the Sun) nowadays is Immigration and Integration. The Swedish street is complaining about the government policy regarding new comers to Sweden along with the new comers. Lots of individuals and organisations are out there doing some voluntarism to help new comers either by teaching them Swedish or differen

t things. But whats making their efforts go in vain is the lack of organizing. That is what we are going to try to accomplish in our initiative. We are not a substitute for any other organisation, we will just be a bridge between different organisations. Since we are immigrants our selves, we know how to deal with each other and we know our problems and suffering.

We had a great start on Wednesday the 1st of April, a great mix of students with only one thing in common, their previous self effort at learning the Swedish Language.
we would like to thank Medborgar Skolan And Serholt Family for the endless help.
We also would like to thank many other parties like the Björkgårdens asylboende management, Varberg Kommun The RedCross, the bibliotek in Varberg and lots of individuals for the help and support the have given us till now.

We are going to start on the 1st of April (I know its not the best Date to pick up for a start )

so anyone else who would like to volunteer, you are welcome to join at medborgar skolan on Wednesday the 1st of April 2015 at 11:00.

We are still arranging for volunteers on Mondays (To teach Swedish) and Fridays (To talk about the Swedish Society)

For the first phase of our project, We are going to do the three main steps in our approach regarding integration:
1- Teaching the Swedish Language for the New Comers to Sweden (Since there has been a huge pressure on Sweden, immigrants nowadays have to wait for 7 months or even more before getting a decision about their cases, so they would spend that time in a camp without knowing anything about the Swedish Language).
2- Teaching some principles about the Swedish society and Swedish Laws so immigrants wouldn’t spend 7 months in camps in Sweden without being living in Sweden yet.
3- Preparing internet based CV’s and connecting the new comers with companies and employers.

We are looking for candidates to help us in our project, if you are willing to help for 2 hours you are going to be making a difference.
