The Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm represents as the extending arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia bears the mandate and responsibility to conduct Malaysia's foreign relations with other countries. This includes matters related to political relations, economic affairs, security matters, and social and cultural promotion. Our Ministry is geared towards fulfilling its role and funct

ions:

i) upholding, promoting and protecting Malaysia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and interests;

ii) monitoring and analysing developments in the international arena;

iii) developing and advising the government on foreign policy options;

iv) communicating the government’s foreign policy position;

v) assisting other ministries and agencies in their international dealings; and

vi) assisting Malaysian citizens abroad.

Sultan Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V dipilih menjadi Yang di-Pertuan Agong ke-15 oleh Mesyuarat Majlis Raja-Raja kali ke-243 (Khas) di Istana Negara di sini hari ini.

Menurut kenyataan Penyimpan Mohor Besar Raja-raja Datuk Seri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, pelantikan itu berkuat kuasa 13 Dis ini untuk tempoh lima tahun.

Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah p**a dipilih menjadi Timbalan Yang di-Pertuan Agong bagi tempoh sama.

Mesyuarat Khas Majlis Raja-Raja itu dihadiri semua Raja dan dipengerusikan Raja Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail.

WORKING VISIT OF YB MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
TO THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

YB Dato’ Sri Anifah Hj. Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs met with H.E. Adel Al Jubeir, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh during Dato’ Sri Anifah’s working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 30 April 2016. The Ministers had fruitful discussions on matters of mutual interest relating to the development and well-being of the Muslim Ummah, regional as well as bilateral relations. The discussions were follow-ups to their regular consultations through telephonic communications as well as meetings at side-lines of international events. Their meeting in Riyadh provided a good opportunity for Dato’ Sri Anifah and the Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister, H.E. Adel Al Jubeir a more personal interaction to address these matters of mutual interests to both Malaysia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dato’ Sri Anifah was well received by the Saudi Foreign Minister and the meeting was held in a most brotherly and friendly manner reflecting the very close relations between the Ministers and the two countries.

H.E. Adel Al Jubeir expressed his continued readiness to further strengthen the brotherly relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to visit and meet with Dato’ Sri Anifah in Malaysia, to follow-up the discussions held in Riyadh during this visit.
