🎼🎹On 27 September, Engelbrekt Church welcomes audiences to a one-hour concert dedicated to the music of three of Belgium's most distinguished organ composers: César Franck, Joseph Jongen, and Flor Peeters.

Spanning more than a century of music, from the Romantic period to the present day, the program highlights the finest works in the Belgian organ repertoire. The music will be performed by Joakim Elevant, organist and choir director in Engelbrekt parish.

Exchange your Belgian driving licence in time
✅ Yes, your Belgian driving licence is valid in Sweden and Latvia.
⚠️ However, we recommend exchanging it for a local driving licence.
• A Belgian driving licence cannot be renewed while living abroad.
• If it is lost or stolen, obtaining a replacement can be more complicated.
• Old paper driving licences ("pink licences") will no longer be valid after 2032.
• Some car rental companies refuse older paper licences.

As Belgium continues to battle the wildfire in the High Fens, Sweden has stepped up to help. Two Swedish water-bombing aircraft have been deployed to support Belgian firefighters.

🌿☀️🥂Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 40 guests to our annual Garden Party at the Residence of Belgium.
It was a great opportunity to bring together members of the Belgian community in Sweden for an afternoon of conversation, networking and conviviality in a beautiful summer setting. 🥂✨ The strong turnout once again demonstrated the vitality of the Belgian community in Sweden and the value of staying connected, even far from home.
