Warm congratulations to the Hindu Mandir Samiti (HMS) on the launch of weekly Hindi classes, in collaboration with the Embassy of India, Stockholm, for children, young learners and all those interested in strengthening their Hindi language skills.

The class was inaugurated by Shri Bipin Kumar Baranwal, HOC, Embassy of India, Stockholm, and Shri Amit Kumar Jindal, President, HMS, along with other board members.

Over 30 children participated, marking a wonderful beginning to this initiative promoting Hindi and Indian culture.

Ambassadör Anurag Bhushan deltog i **MKM FusionX 2026**, som arrangerades av Indisk Barnklubb (IBK) i samarbete med Västerås stad på Stora Torget.

Under temat **”En scen • Många kulturer • Förenade genom dans”** samlade festivalen olika samhällsgrupper genom mångkulturella dans- och musikframträdanden, internationell mat, hantverk och aktiviteter för barn.

Ambassadören uttryckte sin uppskattning för IBK:s insatser för att skapa en inkluderande plattform som lyfter fram Indiens grundläggande värderingar – **enhet i mångfalden, gästfrihet och respekt för alla kulturer**. Han berömde även volontärerna, de deltagande föreningarna, artisterna och familjerna, vars engagerade medverkan gjorde festivalen till ett färgstarkt firande av vänskap och kulturell mångfald.

We are happy to announce that Hindi classes are being started by Hindu Mandir Samiti in collaboration with Embassy of India, Stockholm for children, young learners, and anyone interested in learning and improving their Hindi language skills. 🇮🇳📚

The classes will be offered at two levels:

Age 5–15 years
• Every Sunday | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Starting: Sunday, 13 September
• Conducted by: Tuhina Rathor Ji & Sapna Choubey Ji
Age 15 years and above
• Every Saturday | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Starting: Saturday, 12 September
• Conducted by: Anu Nidhi Ji

These classes are free for everyone.

We encourage everyone to join these sessions and take this opportunity to learn, practice, and strengthen your connection with the Hindi language.

The Embassy of India, Stockholm invites youth members of the Indian diaspora in the age group of 21-25 years to take part in the following two competitions to get a chance to participate in the upcoming Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Kolkata, January 2027:

a) Essay Writing (1000 words) on "The Role of Diaspora Youth in Realizing the Vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047")

b) Make a Video on Social Media on topic "The Diaspora Youth: Strengthening India- Sweden relation, People-to-People Ties & Achievement in context of India’s development journey")

Share your vision through a written essay (1000 words), a creative video, or both - and get a chance to visit India.
