44th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS), 27 August 2026

The 44th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS) marked the beginning of Malaysia’s Chairship of the ACS for the second semester of 2026.

The meeting discussed the proposed programme of activities for the semester, with a focus on strengthening ASEAN–Sweden cooperation across areas including civil defence , trade and economic cooperation, energy, institutional and people-to-people cooperation, as well as preparations for the 59th ASEAN Day reception.

The ACS looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing ASEAN–Sweden relations throughout the second half of 2026.
