وقدّمت إدارة 249Startups رؤيتها حول أبرز الإنجازات والتحديات، إلى جانب استعراض أهم الدروس المستفادة، وأسهمت في تبادل الخبرات والرؤى مع شركاء البرنامج على المستوى الإقليمي، بما يعزز فرص تطوير العمل وتوسيع أثره.

Last month, the Orange Corners partner network gathered in Nairobi, Kenya, for the program’s regular partners meeting, where we met with our partners to review the progress achieved so far and discuss the next steps toward strengthening support and empowerment for young entrepreneurs in Sudan.

The management team of 249Startups presented its vision on the program’s key achievements and challenges, while also highlighting important lessons learned. The meeting created valuable opportunities to exchange experiences and insights with regional program partners, helping strengthen collaboration and expand the program’s impact.

Orange Corners Sudan continues to empower young people by equipping them with knowledge, skills, mentorship, and funding to support the growth of their ideas and existing businesses, enhance their innovation capabilities, and contribute to building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sudan.

We were also pleased to connect with our valued partners:

بطموح، وبإيمانٍ راسخ بالفكرة، ووحدةٍ في الرؤية، تأسست 249Startups كمنصة تهدف إلى بناء منظومة استثمار وريادة أعمال في السودان.

منذ انطلاقتها، كان الهدف واضحًا: تهيئة بيئة تمكّن الشركات الناشئة، وتربطها بالمعرفة، ورأس المال، والأسواق، ضمن منظومة مستدامة ومتصلة بالعالم.

في سياق معقّد، ومع فجوة واضحة في التمويل والدعم المؤسسي، استمرت 249Startups في دفع حدود الممكن. لم يكن التحدي في إطلاق البرامج فحسب، بل في بناء بنية تحتية حقيقية لريادة الأعمال تشمل مسرعات، وشبكات خبراء، وشراكات عالمية، وإتاحة فعلية للوصول إلى رأس المال.

احتوت الفعالية على تدريب عملي لمساعدة الطلاب على تحويل أفكارهم إلى أعمال، في مساحة تفاعلية مليئة بالنقاشات الملهمة والتجارب الواقعية والتي ساعدت المشاركين على إعادة النظر في أفكارهم وتطويرها بشكل عملي.

خلال التدريب، تمكّن المشاركون من:
💡 تطوير أفكارهم في مجالات وقطاعات حيوية
📚 فهم أساسيات ريادة الأعمال وتطبيق عملي لنموذج العمل واستعراض أفكار المشاركين
📊 استكشاف الفرص المحيطة بهم وتحليلها بوعي أكبر

وقد عكست الفعالية مستوى عالياً من الحماس والطموح لدى المشاركين، مما يؤكد على أهمية الاستثمار في طاقات الشباب ودعمهم في بداية رحلتهم الريادية.

In an inspiring and ambitious student atmosphere, we were delighted to host the Dare to Dream – GYB Training event in collaboration with Maharat Center in Kassala 🎓

The event featured a hands-on training designed to help students turn their ideas into real ventures, within an interactive space filled with inspiring discussions and real-life experiences that encouraged participants to rethink and practically develop their ideas.

During the training, participants were able to:

📚 Understanding the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, with a practical application of the business model and a presentation of participants’ ideas.

The event reflected a high level of enthusiasm and ambition among participants, highlighting the importance of investing in youth potential and supporting them at the start of their entrepreneurial journeys.

Students also submitted their applications to join the ninth cohort of Orange Corners Sudan, with support from the program team, Maharat Center, and alumni from previous cohorts.
