Today, 4 June 2026, Ambassador Raymond R. Balabat received Mr. Jan Evan Gaupo, the representative of the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia to the King of the World Philippines 2026 pageant which was held in the Philippines, where he was crowned King of the World Philippines Tourism 2026.

Mr. Gaupo's dedication, confidence, and commitment to representing the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have brought pride and honor to our kababayans .

Today, 2 June 2026, Ambassador Raymond Balatbat received representatives from DAVEST Productions led by Mr. Dave Chavez Salibio.

DAVEST Production is a Filipino community group that aims to showcase Filipino talents by organizing community events and providing event solutions to its stakeholders in the Kingdom. The group spearheaded the successful launch of the first Filcom Film Festival in May 2026.

Mr. Salibio expressed support and willingness to work with the Embassy on initiatives that promote Filipino culture and heritage in the Kingdom.
