At the Al Taybat International City Museum of Science and Information, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah found a familiar connection: the kulintang, a musical tradition shared across the southern Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Celebrating Museums and Galleries Month 2026, our visit brought this year’s theme, “Bridging Divides, Preserving the Present for Tomorrow,” to life through an encounter with our own heritage among the stories of other cultures.

What’s familiar can spark a connection. What’s different can deepen our understanding.

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah extends its heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Ms. Kaye Azrael O. Argana-Garcia upon the completion of her six-year tour of duty in Jeddah. Ms. Argana-Garcia served as the Consulate General’s communications officer and attaché from 2020 to 2026.

The public is hereby informed that the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah will be closed for all consular and other services on the designated holidays in November 2026.

The Consulate General will resume its operations on the next working day following each holiday.
