We had the honor of interviewing Abdelkarim Aljabarti a visual artist and Arabic calligrapher whose work carries emotion, depth, and a unique artistic identity.
His ability to blend visual expression with Arabic calligraphy creates pieces that speak directly to the heart 🎨

His participation this year carried the theme “I Healed, So I Drew”, a powerful and personal journey reflecting his healing from cancer. Each painting represents a moment, a feeling, and a chapter of that journey transformed into art filled with resilience and honesty 💛

We’re incredibly proud to have creatives like him in our community… original artists who turn their stories into art, and their art into meaning 🌿✨

‎كان لنا الشرف نلتقي بالفنان عبدالكريم الجبرتي فنان بصري وخطاط عربي أعماله دايم تحمل مشاعر وعمق ولمسة فنية مختلفة. طريقته في دمج الفن البصري مع الخط العربي تخلق لوحات تلامس القلب 🎨

‎مشاركته هذي السنة كانت بعنوان «شُفيت فرَسَمت»… رحلة صادقة وجميلة يحكي فيها تعافيه من السرطان من خلال لوحاته. كل لوحة تحكي لحظة، إحساس، ومرحلة من رحلته… وتحويله للألم لقوة إبداعية شيء يلهم كل اللي يشوف فنه 💛

‎فخورين جدًا بوجود مبدعين زيّه في مجتمعنا… ناس أصلية يصنعوا من قصصهم فن، ومن فنّهم معنى 🌿✨

Day Three of our participation in the Eritrean Cultural Festival Jeddah 2025 wrapped up our booths for this year with a beautiful success.
Each day brought more engagement, more excitement, and more meaningful moments that made this experience truly special.
We’re proud of what we presented, the connections we built, and the creativity we were able to share with the community.
It has been an honor to be part of this festival and to end our booth journey on such a strong and memorable note. ✨

اليوم الثالث من مشاركتنا في مهرجان إرتريا الثقافي بجدة 2025 كان ختام ناجح لأجنحتنا هذي السنة.
كل يوم كان يحمل تفاعل أكبر، حماس أجمل، ولحظات مميزة خلت التجربة فعلاً مختلفة.
فخورين بالشغل اللي قدّمناه، وبالعلاقات اللي بنيناها، وبالإبداع اللي قدرنا نشاركه مع المجتمع.
وكان شرف كبير لنا نكون جزء من المهرجان ونختم مشاركتنا بهالطريقة القوية والمميزة. ✨

Day Two of our participation in the Eritrean Cultural Festival Jeddah 2025 was another meaningful success. It was truly an honor to be part of this cultural celebration and to feel the growing energy and connection within our community.
We were also proud to welcome two incredible artists, Wedi Sheikh and Gebrelul Afwerki, whose performances brought passion, beauty, and inspiration to the festival.
Meeting them and taking photos together was a special moment for all of us. ✨
اليوم الثاني من مشاركتنا في مهرجان إرتريا الثقافي بجدة 2025 كان نجاح جميل ومشرّف. شرف كبير لنا نكون جزء من هالاحتفال الثقافي ونشعر بالطاقة الحلوة والتواصل اللي يكبر بين الجميع.
وكمان تشرفنا باستقبال فنانين مبدعين، أحمد ود الشيخ و قبرلؤول أفورقي، واللي كانت مشاركتهم مليانة شغف وجمال وإلهام.
وكانت لحظة مميزة إننا نلتقي فيهم ونتصور معاهم. ✨
