On this Friday 13 March 2026, the RGB Deputy CEO Dr. Usengumukiza Felicien attended the commissioning ceremony of the General Superintendent and the Deputy Superintendent of the Église de Pentecôte des Assemblées de Dieu au Rwanda (EPADER).
In his remarks, Dr. Felicien told the participants that the commissioning ceremony marks an important milestone in the life of the Church and represents a moment of renewed commitment to spiritual leadership, responsible stewardship, and service to the nation.
“The commissioning of leaders within the Church is both a spiritual duty and an institutional responsibility. Those entrusted with such roles carry the mandate to provide spiritual guidance to the faithful while also ensuring that the Church is governed with wisdom, accountability, and integrity” he said.
“Faith communities have played a vital role in Rwanda’s journey of national rebuilding, reconciliation, and social transformation. Churches have been instrumental in nurturing moral values, promoting unity, strengthening families, and serving the most vulnerable members of society” he added.
Dr. Felicien appreciated EPADER for having been a committed actor in Rwanda’s transformational journey. He also noted that the Government of Rwanda recognises the important role that faith-based organisations play in the moral and social development of the nation.
