The U.S. Department of State is seeking partners to support the Regional Economic Integration Framework (REIF) in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. The initiative will strengthen mining governance, promote fair competition, and attract private-sector investment in critical minerals across Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, & Uganda.
Funding available: up to $14.49 million

A bipartisan Congressional delegation, led by Chairman Brett Guthrie, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial to honor the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The delegation paid tribute to those who lost their lives and reflected on the importance of remembrance, reconciliation, and ensuring that such atrocities are never repeated.
