The Consulate General of India, Vladivostok in partnership with Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (FEB RAS) convened the inaugural Discussion Series on India - Russia Relations.

Ambassador(Retd.) Shri Manjeev Singh Puri delivered the Keynote Address on "The Arc of Partnership: Past, Present and Future of India - Russia Relations," drawing on decades of diplomatic experience and personal anecdotes from Parliamentary Diplomacy with Russia.

The Discussion Series speakers addressed the themes of India's Arctic Engagement, Connectivity Initiatives, Manpower Mobility and Reformed Multilateralism for a Multipolar World and Multipolar Asia.

The Consulate General of India, Vladivostok undertook the initiative to translate and publish the 3-Part Professor Ayushman Comic Book Series into the Russian language with the objective of enhancing awareness of medicinal and herbal plants and Ayurveda, particularly among children, in light of its growing global recognition as one of the most ancient and comprehensive systems of healthcare.

The Comic Book Series was formally inaugurated on the occasion of the Republic Day Reception by Consul General Mr. Siddarth Gowrav, together with the Chief Guests - Governor of Primorsky Krai H.E. Mr. Oleg Kozhemyako, Mayor of Vladivostok H.E. Mr. Konstantin Shestakov, Chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly H.E. Mr. Anton Voloshko, Chairman of the Vladivostok City Duma H.E. Mr. Andrey Brik.

The original version of the 3-Part Professor Ayushman Comic Book Series in English Language was published by National Medicinal Plants Board, Ministry of AYUSH in collaboration with Amar Chitra Katha, Mumbai.

The Consulate General of India in Vladivostok hosted a reception to mark the 77th Republic Day of India. The event was honoured by the presence of the Governor of Primorsky Krai H.E. Mr. Oleg Kozhemyako, Mayor of Vladivostok H.E. Mr. Konstantin Shestakov, Chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly H.E. Mr. Anton Voloshko, and Chairman of the Vladivostok City Duma H.E. Mr. Andrey Brik.

Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Friends of India in Russia, and the Indian community attended the reception. Russian-language editions of the Professor Ayushman comic series (three books) were formally inaugurated by the Chief Guests.

“Vande Mataram at 150” celebrations featuring cultural performances were organised. Photo exhibitions on the Art and Calligraphy of the Constitution of India and the Bhagavad Gita were showcased, and guests were served Sattvik cuisine.

He shared Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s words: “The teachings of Lord Shri Krishna are practical in every age. The words of the Gita guide not only the individual, but also the policy of the nation.”

Consulate General of India in Vladivostok designed a Hindi Language Learning module specially for Russian students at Far Eastern Federal University. The module engages learners with the Bhagavad Gita, National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’, and National Song ‘Vande Mataram’, introducing key Hindi words and phrases from them, while offering cultural context rooted in India’s heritage. It also commemorated the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’ as an enduring symbol of devotion to the nation.
