Dear International Students,
Please be advised that starting from May 25, 2018, you must follow new migration rules (due to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, set to take place in 11 cities of Russia). From May 25 to July 25 2018 all foreign citizens (including CIS, Belorussia) must be registered within 72 hours* upon their arrival to the Russian Federation.
If you are travelling to/coming back to Moscow please contact the HSE Visa and Migration Support Centre for Foreign CitizensRoom 538, 20 MyasnitskayaUlitsa, https://visa.hse.ru/en/) on the date of your arrival and provide your documents’ copies for registration.
If you are travelling to one of the following Russian cities: Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi or Ekaterinburg immediately request the host party (hotel, hostel, friends or relatives) for your registration application.
Our office hours from May 25 to July 25, 2018 are as follows:
Mon - Fri, 9:30am - 7:00pm;
Weekends and public holidays, 11:00am - 4:00pm.
List of documents:
1. Copies of ALL PASSPORT (ID CARD) PAGES (including all blank ones, with two pages on one A4 sheet printed on both sides);
2. A copy of migration card;
3. A copy of Russian visa (if you need a visa to enter Russia);
4. A copy of (permanent) residence permit with its expiry dates (if you are a permanent resident of the Russian Federation).
ATTENTION citizens of CIS countries: if you have an ID card/document, which can be used to enter the Russian Federation, please present it instead of your passport when travelling to Russia. In that case, you will need to provide only a copy of your ID card (both sides) to get registered at HSE (you won’t have to submit copies of all passport pages).

*Hotels, hostels, resorts, boarding houses, summer camps, camping sites must register a foreign citizen within one day following the day of his/her arrival.
